Our monthly Charity Quilt-together times are scheduled as follows:

First Thursday morning (10-1:00)

Third Thursday afternoon (12-3:00)

Fourth Tuesday evening (5-8:00)  

You will notice the NEW Tuesday evening hours have been added onto our schedule.

This quilt was pieced by members at the September sew-in.  I completed the borders and Nancy Stevens quilted it. The name of the quilt is "Irish Cabins" used with permission by American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine.  April 2006 issue. This is a donation quilt for Bethesda Hospital Foundation which I will be delivering Tuesday morning (10-12).

Hi All!  We have had a special delivery to Teen Moms!

Stitch, (the Stork), I has come, delivering baby quilts for The Piecemaker, Hibiscus Quilt Guild of S. Florida!   We now are blessed with 20 receiving blankets and burp cloths, 10 panel quilts and 10 beautiful patchwork quilts.  Our quilting friends wanted to bless the girls in Teen Moms and their babies.

If one of your teen moms could benefit from one of these beautiful blankets, please let me know!  I will get them to you right away.  These aren’t items for the incentive closet, rather a special gift.  They would be a great gift for a new mom.

I am thankful for Waynette and her passion to bless others with her gifts.  I am thankful for her quilting guild who caught her passion.  What a Blessing!

So, the blankets are here!  Please let me know your needs so I can get these quilts and blankets to their new homes.
